A First Day Cover was issued on January 2, 2011 with a special cachet and a postmark. Covers were made in white (above) and gray (below). The special cachet depicts a colorized photo of King Kamehameha IV and his wife Queen Emma, with a short biography of Queen Emma.

The special postmark for the above covers was issued for January 2, 2011 only. The upper inner circle reads "QUEEN EMMA - 175TH ANNIV. OF BIRTH". The lower inner circle reads "* HONOLULU, O'AHU, HAWAI'I". Above that is the date "02 JAN 2011". The center shows an outline map of O'ahu with a star on the site of Honolulu where Queen Emma was born. Black ink was used.

A First Day Cover was issued on February 3, 2011 with a special cachet and a postmark. Covers were made in white (above) and gray (below). The special cachet depicts a rabbit and the caption "Lunar New Year, Year of the Rabbit" and below that the Year of the Rabbit in Chinese characters.
